Police in Nadi are investigating an alleged break-in and graffiti painting at the Mount Saint Mary’s School at the weekend.

The Martintar-based institution is alleged to have suffered two break-ins in a space of a week.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed the incident happened last week, with the recent one on Sunday.

“The suspects broke into five classrooms, stole money worth of $25 collected from lent proceeding and there was also graffiti on the wall,” she said.

To make the scene worse large deposits of paints were dumped on the floor creating a mess.

This newspaper has been reliably informed that teachers of the said classrooms were at their stations last Sunday busy cleaning off the graffiti.
