Nasinu Rugby Football Union assistant secretary Doni Nainiqolo is happy that 15s rugby has been revived after a two-year lapse. He said this during the third round of club competition at the Fiji National University ground in Nasinu yesterday.

“This year we are having two divisions’ premier and the B division. Twelve teams are registered in the premier while thirteen teams in the second division,” he said.

Nainiqolo also said Nasinu Rugby has produced players that have played in the 7s competition as well.

“We have produced players that have participated in some well-known sevens tournament like Uluinakau and Marist 7s and we are sandwiched between the major unions Tailevu, Naitasiri and Nasinu of which Suva are also included,” Nainiqolo added.

Meanwhile, Nasinu played a friendly match against Tailevu/Naitasiri team later in the evening as they build-up to the Skipper Cup competition.
