JIL Dreketi football team are prepared to play two matches in the Vodafone Premier League competition this weekend.

The Johan Leewai-coached side take on Rewa on Friday at 7pm at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori and on Sunday they battle Suva at 1pm at the same venue.

Speaking to SUNsports yesterday coach Leewai said, they are confident of doing well against Rewa and Suva since they’ve been training hard in Labasa for the past two weeks.

He said they would be playing their usual game with no fancy stuff whatsoever.

“We need to win these matches to improve our position on the points table. Right now we have three points. Rewa is a very tough side and we will not underestimate them,” Leewai said.

“We need to work on our game structure and team planning for the Rewa match as we need to be professional in our approach and make sure that we are at our best in Viti Levu.”

The team leave Labasa tomorrow for Nausori.
