Naicker adds the financial status of the organisation was good

The Then India Sanmarga Ikya (TISI) Sangam College of Nursing centre in Ba is expected to open on May 4.

TISI national president Sadasivan Naicker said: “The centre will offer the same bridging programmes to practicing nurses.

“The college of nursing has this year partnered with Australia-Pacific Technical College (APTC) to establish aged care courses that are going to start in Labasa from July.

“The largest investment for the organisation is the Sangam College of Nursing in Labasa.

“The college has seen growth under the leadership of Amraiya Naidu.”

Mr Naicker indicated that the financial report of the organisation was good.

“I am proud to advise that the net assets of the organisation has increased by $2million in the last 12 months and the cash reserve has doubled,” he said.

“Our temples are very-well managed as well as our other entities due to prudent financial management, good accountability and transparency in our dealings.

“Sangam is focusing on commercial ventures too in our districts to get better returns from our assets that many have been underutilised.”
