The rally will be held at the Vodafone Arena, Laucala Bay, Suva, on Saturday from 6.30pm

Scripture Union Fiji national director, Nacanieli Tikoduadua, said the event always coincided with the final day of the Coca-Cola Games.

“The whole idea of ‘Youth Nited’ is during the night a lot of things happen around the city and so a lot of rivalry happens and post-game drama,” Mr Tikoduadua said.

He said the whole idea of the event was to bring youths together in an environment where it is alcohol, drugs, and rivalry free.

“It’s a time for people to come together and enjoy the songs and dance that will be staged during the night.”

Mr Tikoduadua said the theme for this year is focussing on the facts that one day, we all need to make a decision to turn our lives around wherever you are in life right now.

“There are about 70 to 80 schools from around the country that will be part of the event and students will be divided into various divisions and a mini-production will also be staged,” he said.

The speaker for the night will be the regional director for Every Home for Christ, Pastor Manasa Kulivuso.

The Scripture Union is encouraging everyone out there to bring their families and friends to the rally.

The Youth Nited Rally will be held at the Vodafone Arena, Laucala Bay, Suva, from 6.30pm.

Entry is free and food stalls will also be available during the event.
