Gallagher Chiefs head coach Dave Rennie looks forward to an exciting performance against Crusaders at the ANZ Stadium, Suva on Friday night.

Speaking during their traditional welcoming ceremony at Novotel Suva Lami Bay last night, Rennie shared how grateful they were in their first Fiji visit last year.

“When we came here last year, we were really amazed with the hospitality. How things were organised by the organisers, who had a massive role to play,” Rennie said.

“We look forward to be in action this Friday and hope our boys enjoy the kava and hope the kava will be delivered to our hotel,” Rennie said.

The head coach and his team look forward to meet with the public.

“We’re truly grateful to be here and be welcomed and we look forward in engaging with the people and their full support on Friday night,” Rennie said.

Chiefs co- captain Sam Cane has urged their fans to come out in numbers to support them take on the unbeaten Crusaders.

“It’s good to be back hopefully the locals will see that it’s our home game and hopefully they back us on that one.

“Just a message to all Chiefs fans to come out loud and show your Chiefs colours and bring your flags,” Cane added.
