ASCO Motors had once again demonstrated their continuous support towards the Fiji Bus Operators Association.

Yesterday marked the fifth sponsorship of ASCO Motors towards the association’s Annual Convention.

“We very much value the relationship and going forward I am sure the support that is there will continue and I hope that the relationship further strengthens by reciprocating business with each other,” said ASCO National Parts, Tyres & Battery manager Gyanen Prasad.

The Annual Convention will be held this Saturday at the Novotel Suva Lami Bay Hotel.

Stakeholders of the event such as the Land Transport Authority, Fiji Police Force and Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, to name a few, will make presentations that affect the industry as a whole, according to the association president, Richard Lal.

“Our convention is designed to get all our stakeholders together at one venue where we ask our stakeholders to do presentations that affect the industry and by that the whole industry benefits,” said Mr Lal.

“Obviously funding is required to host such a large gathering and support of ASCO and the likes of our other major and minor sponsors as well as our advertisers in achieving that.”

The main theme of this year’s convention is: “The New Dawn” whereby discussions on how to run the industry and how income will be collected and controlled will take place.

15o people are expected to attend.
