The ground condition at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori is perfect for the Vodafone Fiji FACT, says Nausori Town Council manager engineering Atish Naidu.

Naidu said they had worked overtime to put everything to the standard for the tournament which kicks off today.

“We have done our best for the tournament to be staged here so teams and fans can enjoy the atmosphere of football, “Naidu said.

Naidu said there would be no problem on the field during the wet weather.

“We have put a proper drainage system and our ground will not be much affected. “

He said since the Vodafone Tebara Carnival had successfully ended last week the fans would also have the access to parking at Syria Park.

“We have set up great parking space for the fans as now Syria Park will also be available,”

He said the fans would expect quality football displayed during the Vodafone Fiji FACT.

The Vodafone Fiji FACT kicks off today at 1pm and there will be break on Friday and resumes on Saturday and Sunday for the group stages.

Ticket price is $10 flat for adult and $4 for child under 12. The child under 6 is free.

The semi-finals and finals are yet to be confirmed.
