Top Artists To Blend With Aspiring Musicians In Music Festival

The 16th Alliance Française of Suva and French Embassy annual music festival this year is going to be bigger and better.

Event organiser, Guillaume Ripaud said they were expecting more than 2,000 people to show up next week.

“We try to get as many artists both famous and amateur who will be playing on the same stage various music genres,” Mr Ripaud said.

The concert features some of the best Fijian Artists, Fiji Performing Rights Association Music Awards winners and upcoming musicians.

Performers include Rako Pasifika, Vude Queen-Laisa Vulakoro, Seru Serevi, Tom Mawi, Knox, 4 Quarters, VOU Dance, TheRelativ, Tubuna Veiseyaki, Team Stay Focused, Suliasi Uluilakeba and Drixstar.

This year’s special guest from New Caledonia is the “3 Little Pigs” offering a wide rock repertoire.

Suva Grammar School Choir, Hilton School dance crew, two music bands from International School of Suva, and Chiani, a very talented artist from Suva and  Robert Zraick, a magician, will also be on stage.

The aim of the concert is to give free access to music to everyone and everywhere. Each year more than 340 cities organize this event in more than 100 countries.

The Music festival will be held at the Fiji Museum on June 23rd (Friday) from 3pm-11pm and admission is absolutely free.
