Some members of the Vodafone Flying Fijians visited Frank Hilton Early Intervention Centre  as part of their outreach programme yesterday.

And it was an emotional moment for the first –five eighth Ben Volavola seeing the children with special needs performing for them.

Volavola said it was a great moment for them to visit this school and spend time with the children.

“It was a special moment seeing the kids perform and also the parents and teachers interacting with them.

“It was just touching,” Volavola said.

He advised people to treat everyone the same just as we would like to get treated. Everyone is equal no matter the abilities one might have or lack.

“I think God created us all alike and we should treat each other like our loved ones,”he said.

“Regardless of the abilities that one has, it shouldn’t count towards the way someone treats an individual.”

Packs

Vodafone gave away gift packs to all the students while the school teachers, parents and students kept the players entertained throughout the programme with items and songs.

Head teacher Cecilia Yee thanked the team for taking out their time out of a busy schedule to visit their school.
