Vodafone Flying Fijians pivot Ben Volavola is looking forward to calling the shots against Italy in the test at the ANZ Stadium in Suva today.

The 26-year-old who plays for Melbourne Rebels knows his teammates need to impress the fans.

“It’s a new challenge for me personally and for the newcomers,”Volavola said.

“Some of the senior reps have played Italy before but for some us, it will be a moment to cherish.

“I feel we have been blessed playing five test matches week in week out and I am personally excited to lift my performance to a new level and hopefully finish this June’s Internationals on a high. We aim to put on a quality performance and I’m pleading for fans to turn up in white.”

The new backline combination are Volavola (10), Eroni Vasiteri (12) Jale Vatubua (13),Vereniki Goneva (11) and Timoci Naqusa (14).  The game kicks off at 2.30pm.
