Defending Vodafone Fiji FACT champions Nadi ran riot at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori last night as they walloped a hapless Suva side 6-2 in the second semifinal.

The Jetsetters were too good and taught the 10-men Suva side a lesson when it comes to playing on wet ground conditions.

Nadi star striker Napolioni Qasevakatini scored a brace of goals in the big win. He recovered from an injury just in time for the clash and played a crucial role throughout the encounter. Ame Votoniu also scored twice while Rusiate Matererega and Elvin Prasad scored a goal each for Nadi. Suva’s goals were scored by striker Ravinesh Singh.

The Whites suffered a major blow when Tomasi Uculoa was red-carded towards the end of the first half due to indiscipline and that was the turning point of the game.

Nadi coach Viliame Toma commended his players and said that they executed their game plan well to score the big win.
