A group of students from one of America’s prestigious universities are here to showcase a different kind of brilliance to an audience tonight.

Harvard University’s a capella group, Harvard Krokodiloes, are here on the invitation of the Embassy of the United States and will be collaborating with our very own Pasifika Voices.

The 12-member group are performing at the Japan-Pacific ICT Multi-purpose Theatre at the USP.

The event at the University of the South Pacific starts at 7:30pm tonight. Entrance is free.

The group have an exclusive blend of a capella harmony and humor. The Harvard Krokodiloes is the Ivy League’s oldest a cappella singing group, founded in 1946.

Group general manager, Michael Paladino said it’s their first time here in Fiji and they were excited to be performing this evening.

“We always like to start off with the bang so we do a flash mob style with a lot of energy,” said Mr Paladino.

Tour general manager, Channy Hong said: “The crowd this evening can expect a great show and something different that probably hasn’t been done before.”

The group heads to Australia this Saturday.
