In the first three days of the event, over 25,000 people have turned up for Fiji Showcase 2017 at the Vodafone for the Fiji Showcase 2017 impressing organisers.

Total Event Company manager Loretta Jackson said the turnout was more than what was expected.

“The showcase is a place where everyone benefits.

“We are anticipating more than 100,000 people to come by the end of the showcase,” Mrs Jackson said.

“There is a lot of entertainment for everyone and at something unique in all locations for the convenience of everyone.

“There are 107 stall exhibitors at the showcase that people can take advantage of from shopping to food, face painting and entertainment,” she said.

The Fiji Showcase originally started out as the Home and Leisure show in 1986 but has grown considerably shifting from the original venue at Suva Civic Centre to the FMF Gymnasium in 2003 then to the Vodafone Arena.

This year entertainment the list of entertainers include international performers like JGeeks from New Zealand, The Chongqing Acrobatic Arts Troup from China, Empress Stildancers from Australia and Australia’s favourite clown, Christof.

Local performers include Voqa Ni Delai Dokidoki, Leba Boiyawa e Lomai Nasau, Senilagakali Kei Koroilagi, Suliasi Uluilakeba, Nasio Domoni, RelatiV, Desi Beatz and many more.

The showcase closes this Saturday.
