The Koli Sewabu coached- Naitasiri rugby team are anticipating a tough battle against Namosi in the Skipper Cup semifinal at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori on Saturday.

Speaking to SUNsports yesterday, Sewabu said preparations are going well.

“We’ve been going through an intense training session knowing that we will be playing in the semifinal,” the former Flying Fijians No.8 said.

“We’re aware that we’ve only a few days remaining and we will need to utilise it well in order to achieve our second goal which is to qualify for the finals.

“Namosi will be a difficult side to play against and we’re expecting a tough battle from their forwards and we’re going to be ready for it physically and mentally.

“Also, having Mosese Ducivaki back in the team after being part of the Flying Fijians along with Frank Lomani will be a bonus for us especially in our scrums and forward play.”

Sewabu said they’re expecting to name their final line-up tomorrow.

“There might be a few changes in the side this week and we’ve got a lot of former players who have gone through the recruitment process with the Police Force in the likes of Kini Douglas and Nacani Seduadua. So, at the moment we’ve not put too much thought on the line-up as I’m trying to see what strengths our opponent Namosi has and how we can encounter it.”

Sewabu has urged their supporters to come out in numbers and cheer them on Saturday.
