The Ro Alifereti Doviverata coached-side Rewa side are going to face a tough tussle against Lautoka in the Vodafone Vanua Championship semifinal clash at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori on Friday night.

Ro Dovi said preparations are on track as they aim to win a spot in the 2018 Skipper Cup competition.

“Our preparations are going on as normal,” he said.

“After our last game against Cakaudrove, we’ve stepped-up with our training as the boys will be moving into camp tomorrow,” he said.

“I’m expecting the boys to play according to our game plan and try to qualify for the Skipper Cup competition next year.

“There will be a few positional changes in the side and also the inclusion of Alivereti Veitokani who is back in the team this week.

“We’re also glad to reach  this far in the competition and achieving our goal in the previous games. But we still need to work on certain areas of our play.”

Ro Doviverata said there are no major injuries in the side and the players are fighting for a spot for the 23-member squad.
