The turn out at the first training session at Albert Park on Saturday is an indication that this year’s Amazing Wheelbarrow race will be a closely competed one apart from colour and flair.

Frank Hilton Organisation chief executive officer, Sureni Perera, said the teams’ enthusiasm was a wonderful platform for the upcoming charity race.

Ms Perera says the aim of team building, health, and fitness was clearly seen to be brought about during the training session conducted by Weight Managements Fiji’s, Kunjal Nair.

“The teams were present with their brightly coloured wheelbarrows and were committed to the whole one hour practice session which started off with a jog around the park followed by a planned one hour session,” Ms Perera said.

Present were the Bluescope Pacific Steel, Vinod Patel, Asco Motors, Harcourts, and Sun Insurance teams.

This was the first of the four training sessions. The next training is scheduled on the July 8, 2017 at Albert Park from 7-8am.

The event will take place on July 29 at the Albert Park in Suva.
