When it comes to Pacific rivalry, none has been greater than the clashes between the Vodafone Flying Fijians and Ikale Tahi.

The teams have faced each other 89 times and Tonga is the only country that Fiji has played against more than 50 times.

Out of the 89 matches Fiji has played, they have only won 60 of them, lost 26 times and only drew three games.

On paper, Fiji has a likely 67 per cent win rate against Tonga judging by their track record but everyone knows a game is won on the field.

Fiji and Tonga will meet yet again tomorrow where they will not only be playing for the Pacific Nations Cup but for the 2019 Rugby World Cup qualifier.

Fiji need a win to top the Oceania pool  after defeating Tonga and Samoa in the first round qualifier last year.

The game kicks off at 3pm at the Teufaiva Stadium in Nuku’alofa.
