The Lelean Memorial School rugby teams were fortunate to be assisted by British and Irish Lions players Anthony Watson and Kyle Sinckler in Suva yesterday.

Harlequin’s tight-head prop Sinckler worked with the forwards.

“I’m enjoying the Fijian weather after completing the test match series against the All Blacks. And to be here with these young players, I really enjoyed the session,”Sinckler said.

“It was great fun and it was good to see the eagerness from these young players as they learn few new techniques.”

The 24-year old who has extended his term with Harlequins for another three years feels good to be in Fiji.

“My plan now is to enjoy my holidays in Fiji for 10 days before I return to the United Kingdom,” he added.

Bath fullback Anthony Watson echoed the same sentiments.

“I’m happy to be here with these young players and I really enjoyed my session with them,” Watson said.

Watson conducted session with the backline.

LMS U19 lock forward Waisake Baleiwai believes yesterday’s session was eye opener for the side.

“I have learnt so much after our session with Kyle we are so fortunate to have them with us here and teaching us new techniques.

“We only see them on television playing but their presence here with us will be good boost building up for the Coke Zero Deans quarterfinals,” Baleiwai said.

Bai Academy Coordinator Seremaia Bai said: “It’s always my intention doing this. We are blessed to get these two players to take time out from their busy schedules.

“This is morale boost for the teams as it means a lot to them,” Bai said.
