The much-anticipated Thurston Food and Music Festival is happening tomorrow.

As part of the festival build-up, a competition ran daily whereby readers texted in their answers on multiple choice questions based on our daily coverage of the event.

Five winners were drawn at the Fiji Sun main head office in Walu Bay, Suva yesterday by senior staff of the Fiji Sun.

Competition response was good.

Fulori Qarau of Nakelo, Tailevu was one of the five winners winning a ticket.

“I had texted in about six times and I’m so looking forward to being part of the event,” Ms Qarau said.

John Seresi of Nadera was surprised and excited about winning a ticket to the event.

“I only texted once and I’m so looking forward to see Knox perform at the event and will be going down with my friends,” Mr Seresi said.

The 13-hour music show will feature artists and bands like Inside Out, TheRelativ, Nasio Domoni, Tom Mawi and others with the Ministry of Health Foodie’s lane like Pineapple Hutt Fiji, Tasty Island Treats amongst others.

The event is a great family fun day of music and food that will be held at Thurston Gardens from 9am-10pm; a major event by Knox Entertainment.

Tickets are $20 and are still selling at the ROC Café, Ginger Kitchen at the Fiji Museum, and Fiji Broadcasting Corporation. Admission is free for children under 12 years.
