Expect innovative, forward thinking and sustainable businesses to be recognised at the upcoming 2017 Prime Minister’s International Business Awards.

Regardless of size, businesses each have a role to play in growing our economy.

Investment Fiji’s chief executive officer, Godo Muller-Teut while speaking at the launch said: “The Awards aim to encourage the concept of boldness, creativity and sustainability, provide an opportunity for Fijian businesses to benchmark performance, build capacity, inspire to innovate, show service excellence, support job creation and boost employee morale.”

In line with the Fijian Government’s leadership role on the global stage, this year’s theme is “Achieving Sustainable Economic Growth.”

Businesses are expected to ensure sustainable development and protection of the environment.

Mr Muller-Teut said the awards mark a journey on how businesses seek to be the best amidst fierce competition and rewarding to those who demonstrate courage and perseverance.

“There is an immense flame of creativity and entrepreneurship burning in Fiji – and through these Awards, we would like to commend the bright ideas and ventures, unique products and services that stand out from the rest.”
