Wailevu villager from Labasa 25-year-old Dibose Tivui mother of 4-month-old Nelly Fanny told the Fiji Sun that shopping for her newborn could be a daunting task, especially since there were such a huge variety of baby products on the market.

How many undershirts, sleepers, bottles and burping cloths does your little one need? Which lotions and creams should you stock up on? What should you carry in your diaper bag?

She said she was lucky that all that she needed were at her favourite supermarket – Shop ‘N Save Supermarket in Labasa.Dibose Tivui at shop and Save supermarket in Labasa Photo: Peni Drauna

The prices she said were affordable and the supermarket was close to the bus stand and taxi stand too.

Ms Tivui said that fresh meat and vegetables were also at Shop N Save good for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.

“The supermarket is good for mothers as it’s spacious and had all what mothers needed.”

According to Ms Tivui, there are other supermarkets in Labasa but she recommends Shop N Save for mothers to visit and do their shopping.

She also shops for their groceries at the supermarket.S8

Meanwhile according to Emma’s Diary by month four your baby has entered into what is often referred to as the “golden age” of babyhood; here’s what you can expect to see:

She will be all smiles during the day, sleeping more during the night and because she has limited mobility she will stay where you put her; keeping her out of mischief – enjoy this while it lasts.

Your baby has become quite a chatterbox by now and will be keen to practice her vocal chords and cooing conversation with you.

The more time you interact with your little one, the better her skills will develop so sing, coo and laugh along; you’ll have mastered all those long forgotten nursery rhymes before you know it.

Ms Tivui’s favourite dish is boiled fish.
