Tributes have been pouring in for the late Iliesa Duvuloco, says family spokesperson Timoci Bulewa Nawaqatabu.

He said they had lost someone who was hard to replace.

Mr Duvuloco was one of the original members of the now defunct Fijian Nationalist Party founded by the late Sakeasi Butadroka.

The party later merged with the Vanua Tako Lavo Party to form the Nationalist Vanua Tako Lavo Party.

Mr Nawaqatabu said: “He was a true, caring, faithful and honest family member.”

He said the 69-year-old Duvuloco was not frightened to speak his mind and tell the truth.

“He always told us that the truth hurts,” he said.

For their clan at Naivuruvuru village in Verata, Tailevu, he said the late Mr Duvuloco would be remembered for the way he worked for the betterment of others.

He said the funeral church service would be at 9am today at the Nabua Methodist Church, Nabua and the burial would be at Naivuruvuru village.
