Bure du Vin (Bure of Wines) is the latest dining and wine addition at the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa, Denarau.

Sofitel Fiji’s Director of Food and Beverage Cameron Griffiths said this was the ideal place to discover the wine culture which France was known for.

The outlet boasts a good selection of wines that reflect France’s rich wine heritage.

Sofitel Fiji Resort is the Fijian flagship of the French-owned international hotel group Accor and it is Accor’s luxury resort brand.

Accor also has two Novotel hotels and a Mercure hotel in Fiji.

Mr Griffiths said: “For me the Bure du Vin is an opportunity to take a little escape to France, in particular to discover the various areas that make up the famous wine growing regions.

“All first drinks that we serve to our guests will receive a selection of bespoke canapés to complement their drink of choice. Who doesn’t love 5-star canapés?

“Our food is also very inspired by French cuisine with small food plates which are great for a snack after a big lunch, or a grazing meal with multiple plates at your table.

“Dishes such as our vol-au-vent filled with seared scallop, sous vide octopus, poached prawn with a smoked fish velouté, and our house made chicken liver parfait with Fiji orange marmalade and brioche proving to be irresistible.

“If you like complimentary canapes then Apéro Chic which is offered exclusively at Sofitel it is going to appeal to your palate.”

Apéro Chic promotion is available throughout the evening. The Bure du Vin is open from Wednesday to Saturday from 5:30pm to 10pm. It is located adjacent to the Salt Restaurant.
