Perth Spirit No. 8 Isireli Naisarani aim to play for the Australian Wallabies in future.

He made the revelation at his village in Naqali, Naitasiri yesterday.

He visited his village with some of his teammates in the afternoon after arriving in the morning for round four of the National Rugby Championship against the Fiji Airways Drua at the ANZ Stadium tomorrow.

“To be honest my main goal is to don the Wallaby jersey when I’m eligible.

“That’s one way I want to give back to my family and make them proud,” Nasarani said.

The 22-year old was welcomed by students of Naqali District Primary School followed by the traditional welcoming ceremony at the village hall.

“It’s good to be back home and play again at the ANZ Stadium on Saturday.

“It’s good to come back home to my village and give something back,” he added.

The former Ratu Kadavulevu School student moved to Australia last year where he stayed with his aunt and her family in Brisbane.

“I was blessed to move to Australia to be with my aunty and her family and stayed with them in Brisbane,”Naisarani said.

“They assisted in my preparation and training spiritually and mentally.

“I always make sure I give my 100 per cent best in everything I do. I do my part and the rest I leave it to God,” he added.

Meanwhile, it was a proud moment for the Perth Spirit side visiting children and villagers of Naqali

Team official Adam Crane said: “We are very honoured to come to Suva, we are excited to be here, village of Isireli.”

Crane also stated they were aware of the Fiji Airways Drua style of play.

“We have been watching them on television, very excited to play them, they have incredible skills.

“Their scrums and set pieces are good- hopefully we can do the right thing play entertaining game and come out with a win.”
