The Ba football side have won the Interdistrict Championship for the most times since its inception in 1938.

In 79 years , Ba has won the tournament 24 times and played in 17 finals. The Men-in Black won the first tournament in 1961 in Nadi where they defeated the host 2-1 in the final,

Ba made history in 1980 when they won the title back to back six times, which started in 1975. They last won the Courts IDC in 2015 where they beat  Nadi 2-0 in the final at Govind Park.

Lautoka have won the IDC title 17 times which began in 1941. They have lost eight finals.

The Sugar City boys last won the tournament in 2008 where they defeated Ba 1-0 at Govind Park. In the 2009 and 2010 they were crowned as runners-up.

Suva won the IDC 13 times and fifteen times they came in as runners-up. They were the first one to put their tag on the new Courts IDC trophy after defeating Nadi 1-0 in 2014.

Rewa have won the IDC nine times and featured in the final seven times. They were the first to lift the Lloyd Farebrother trophy in 1938. The Delta Tigers last won the Courts IDC in 2010 walloping Lautoka 3-1 in the final at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.

Nadi have featured 18 times in the final of the IDC but had won only six. They last they won the tournament in 2002 where they defeated Rewa 1-0 in the final at Govind Park.

Labasa have won it four times and were runners-up three times. Nadroga won the IDC three times.

Nasinu, Tavua and Navua have all won the IDC title once.

The 2017 Courts IDC will be played at Churchill Park in Lautoka from October 10- 15.
