The International Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Nadi will sprinkle the festive joy this December when they sing Christmas carols on Koro Island.

Koro in the Lomaiviti Group, was one of worst-affected areas that felt the wrath of Tropical Cyclone Winston in 2016.

The Reach 4 Your Future Foundation was launched by the Minister for Sports and Youth, Laisenia Tuitubou at Wyndham Resort on Denarau Island in Nadi yesterday.

International Full Gospel Tabernacle Church Reverend Tausia Kerto said their 10-member choir were honoured to be part of the programme.

“This is a divine opportunity to bring happiness to children on the island of Koro who were badly affected by Tropical Cyclone Winston in 2016, it takes love and kindness to be part of this programme,” Reverend Kerto said.

“We are going to go there and show them that they are loved through the Christmas carols, it really touches our heart to bring happiness to suffering children,” he said.

Mr Tuitubou, while launching the programme, said it was a special way to uplift children who have severely suffered from the category five cyclone. Reach 4 Your Future Foundation President Ganesh Sen confirmed that the Christmas carols programme would be held at Nakodu Village.
