The Suresh Prasad-coached Tailevu/ Naitasiri side made a comeback with 4-1 hammering of Seaqaqa.

The side also recorded their first win in the Senior Division 2017 Courts Inter-District Championship at the Churchill Park in Lautoka yesterday.

What happened:

Tailevu/Naitasiri scored their first goal through a penalty in the 47th minute by Shivneel Ram.

Four minutes later their lead was extended 2-0 after Seaqaqa’s Ratu Vita Dovibua scored an own goal.

Rohit Chand pulled one back for Seaqaqa in the 52nd minute from a penalty kick.

Tailevu/Naitasiri scored two more goals in the 79th and 86th minutes from substitutes Apisai Voravora and Umesh Sharma.

Tailevu/Naitasiri coach Suresh Prasad commended the boys for the effort.

“Scoring four goals is an outstanding performance,” he said.

“We are now focused on our next match.”

Seaqaqa will play Navua in their  next game.

Other Results,  Lami held Savusavu 1-1 while Nadogo drew 2-2 with Navua.
