Comments:

Lautoka coach Kamal Swamy said

“The boys wanted the goal, they slowed down and managed to get the equaliser. It was a tough match and it was good to see the team I once coached come this far.

“I thank Anand Sami and Shanti Saroj for breeding the young players.”

Tavua coach Anand Sami;

“Lautoka is a good, technical team and are the Vodafone Premier League winners and holding them to a 1-1 draw is great. We will need to make use of possession against Suva in our last pool game. It will be a do-or-die and uphill battle for us but we will give our best shot.”
