Only three more days left for the long awaited HOTEC Tradeshow this week.

Organised by Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association, the event will present a range of invaluable opportunities.

Whether you will be exhibiting to showcase new or improved products and services or attending to see how else you can improve your business.

This includes meeting potential customers or suppliers, business networking opportunities and building a more impressive reputation within the Tourism industry.

FHTA chief executive officer Fantasha Lockington said this year, they have included culinary skill displays from some of the industry’s best, short training and technical skill showcasing as well as marketing and HR discussions.

“There should be something of interest to everyone in the tourism industry so that their contact with the exhibitors is enhanced,” she said.

“The tourism industry tends to touch nearly every sector in Fiji, so people who are not in the industry yet but are intending to start a business or expand into tourism or simply want to soak up the atmosphere for the fastest growing industry, that is also responsible for the country’s highest revenue earner can do so at HOTEC 2017.”

HOTEC has been an annual feature of the tourism industry, this being the 14th year. It continues to provide a platform for industry partners and customers to examine recent market trends, study the activities of rivals and capitalise on opportunities to reduce costs and increase market share.

HOTEC is not just an event for product manufacturers and suppliers to preview products and services but is a catalyst for longstanding industry relationships.

The two-day event will start this Thursday and ends on Friday at Denarau Island Convention Centre, Sheraton Fiji Resort with a networking cocktail for suppliers and industry partners.

It will be officiated by Acting Prime Minister and Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism Faiyaz Koya.
