The Capital Force netball team will be out to restore lost glory when they face Western Heats in the grand final of the Digicel Punjas Super League Netball Series at the Vodafone Arena, Suva on Thursday.  The Suva-based side went down 46-40 to Western Heats in the final round of competition at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka but are confident to better their performance.

Force coach/ player, Filo Korovulavula said preparations are on track and the players are confident to give their best.

“I think the girls need some experienced players to boost their morale and uplift their performance,” she said.

“The girls are looking forward and excited to play in the final against the defending champions.

“After, analysing the performance of the side I feel they need to sharpen up on their attack and defence during play.

“And the shooters need to be aware of the goal counting factor and the need to play smart as well.

“Last year we lost in the final against the same Western Heat side and this year we want to turn things around.

“I have faith and confidence in my girls to win the final. I would like to urge to all Capital Force supporters to please come down in numbers to support the side on Thursday.”

Korovulavula also added that fitness is a component as they gear up for the final.
