The Brass bands and all the Military Tattoo cast will be marching through the capital city at 11am today.

“The RFMF Band with the Fiji Police Band, the National Youth Band and other performers for the RFMF Band Military Tattoo will march from the Suva Flea Market to Sukuna Park at 11am on Wednesday,” chairperson of the RFMF Band Military TattooCentennial Celebration Commander (Navy) Lepani Vaniqi said.

He said this was part of the military tattoo procession.

“Before a military tattoo, there is always a march through the city.”

He said there would be live entertainment at Ratu Sukuna Park.

Soon after the march they are expected to go straight to the ANZ Stadium where some local musical groups will be performing.

He said five members of the New Zealand Defence Force had arrived into the country and will be part of the group of entertainers at the stadium.

“They want to be part of the tattoo and we will be meeting to decide on their participation.”

After the march today, the last rehearsal with the lights is expected to be held in the evening.

He said the lights gave an extra edge to the rehearsal.

On Monday’s rehearsal the three bands, during their display, formed the figure 100 as a tribute to the RFMF Band Centennial celebration.

The last rehearsal will be witnessed by RFMF Commander Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto.
