Fijian-born Toulon winger Semi Radradra is again hitting the headlines.

The media has made speculations after Radradra and Josua Tuisova missed the club’s training run on Thursday.

A French journalist tweeted about the big Fijian’s alleged no-show.

Early this week, Radradra and wife Vika were in Qamea Island in Taveuni visiting relations during the festive season. Radradra hails from the chiefly village of Somosomo in Taveuni.

According to Sporting News, the journalist’s tweet read: Expected on Thursday morning for the resumption of training, Josua Tuisove and Semi Radradra are not present. (Toulon coach Fabien) Galthie: “We don’t know where they are, but for now we prefer to laugh.”

When SUNsports visited Tuisova’s home in Ba on Friday, they were told that he had just returned to France.

Radradra debuted with Toulon in October after opting to leave Parramatta Eels to take up a lucrative two-year deal in French rugby. He has previously expressed his desire to one day return to the NRL.

The 25-year-old was this month linked with a possible move to rival Top 14 club Bordeaux, however his failure to report to training will renew speculation he could return to the Eels as early as next season.

The Parramatta fan-favourite has had a modest start to his stint with Toulon, who are currently sitting fifth on the Top 14 table after 13 matches. Radradra played 94 games for the Eels between 2013 and 2017, scoring a whopping 82 tries.
