The 4R Electrical Ba football side are not taking today’s clash against Jack’s Nadi lightly in the opening round of the 2018 Vodafone Premier League.

Travelling to Prince Charles Park, Ba football manager Arvind Singh told SUNsports that they’ve prepared well during the past two weeks.

“We’re not taking Nadi lightly because we know that for every first game it is always important to win,” Singh said.

“We started training two weeks ago as the boys took a break during Christmas but returned after New Year.”

Singh said they’re taking the same team that played in the Courts Interdistrict Championship last year with only a few changes.

“The team still has a mix of young and experienced players. The change is that defender Avinesh Suwamy is away overseas and will not be playing.”

Singh added that preparations for the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Champions League continue tomorrow with the presence of their three overseas players of Amar Singh, Nathan Brown and Troy Watson.
The clash kicks-off at 3pm.
