Flash Flooding In The West, Take Precautionary Measures

Reports of flash flooding is being received in certain parts of the Western Division.
As the officers are deployed to assess the areas the Divisional Police Commander West SSP Abdul Khan said they have had to asked vehicle owners not to drive in flooded areas and tell children also not to swim during this time.
Officers are currently going out and advising people also to move and secure their property and livestock while it is still daylight if they know they’re living in a flood prone area as a precautionary measure.
Members of the public are also requested to call the  Western Division Command Center on 9905457 if they require any assistance.
