Overseas players will feature for Lautoka when they play Rewa in the Vodafone Premier League match at Ratu Cakobau Park on Sunday at 3pm.

Blues Coach Kamal Swamy said although they lost a few players during the transfer window, the inclusion of Cory Chetteburge, Benjamin Totori and Brian Kaltak have lifted the team to a new level.

“The three new players boosted our morale and we are doing well,”Swamy said.

“These players have brought a lot of experience and encouragement since they have been playing high level football and they have really improved the performance of the team as we prepare for O-League later this month.

“The players have to play as a team and trust each other and I think we will do well in the O-League and the match against Rewa on Sunday.

“The team is preparing well for the OFC.  We still have some time before our first game on February 25.”

Team manager Paul Abraham said the three overseas players have jelled well with the rest of team.

He added the boys are physically and mentally fit.
