Bad weather condition has forced shipping companies to change their schedules over the next few days.
This follows forecasts by the Fiji Meteorological Services that severe Tropical Cyclone Gita was expected to pass south of Ono-i- Lau as a category four system tonight.

Storm surges are expected to accompany damaging gale force winds.
