Dreketi Football Association president Nilesh Jaduram said the same players that played against Jack’s Nadi last weekend will meet Labasa this Saturday at 1:30pm for another round of  Vodafone Premier League.

He said no new transfers have been confirmed.

When questioned about Edwin Sahayam of Labasa who made his application to join Dreketi, Jaduram said he has withdrawn his application.

“Anish Khem also applied to join us but there are some issues and we are still in negotiations with Labasa Football Association,” Jaduram said.

“Petero Namoce (goalkeeper) also applied and has no contract with Labasa but some technical issues have arisen and are  being sorted out with President of LFA.”

Meanwhile, he confirmed four players have left Dreketi .

“Three players left to join Lami Football Association and they are Taniela Rakariva, Vinal Prasad and Waisake Ravuiwasa,” he said.

“And Vikrant Chandra left to join Labasa team.

“As for our match with Labasa in their home ground, we have no specific aim.

“We want our players to play well as we can against a much more experienced and star studded side.”

He confirmed that Ronil Lal and Johan Leewai are both coaching the team.

Dreketi’s first match was with Nadi and they lost 1-6.

This will be their second match.
