“The only challenge for us is to maintain and keep improving our game. I always give my best in every game as I enjoy the sport.”

Naduva was happy to make the 13-member squad for the Commonwealth Games.

“Firstly, I want to thank the Lord for his blessing in my life to be part of the Com-monwealth Games and I want to thank the coach for believing in me,” he said.

“I remember praying for it daily and God did answer my prayer.

“When I ran out onto the field for the first time at the Sydney 7s, I thought of my parents, Alosio and Ateca.

“This is the beginning of a new journey for me and I thank all who made it possible for me.  With God’s guidance, I plan to enjoy the ride as long as I can.”
