No Deaths In Kadavu, Say Police

Commissioner of Police Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho has confirmed that as of yesterday no deaths have been reported in Kadavu in relation to Tropical Cyclone Keni.

However, he said there had been three confirmed injuries, one of the injured person was brought to Suva on Wednesday.

Brigadier-General Qiliho said Police officers on Kadavu were assisting people, compiling reports and sending information to headquarters.

“We are re-establishing communications and I am looking at possibilities of sending two of my Police boats across and three officers will go with the Government delegation,” he said.
