Pacific Beachcomber owned vessel, Paul Gauguin Cruises will make its second port of entry to Fiji waters in September 2019 with two cruises.

Launched in 1998, the renowned, five star vessel Paul Gauguin was built specifically to sail the waters of Tahiti, French Polynesia, and the South Pacific and is the longest continually operating year-round luxury cruise ship in this enchanting destination.

Ports of call for the Fiji cruises include Savusavu, Suva, Beqa and Lautoka and will be in Fiji for 12 days and 13 nights.

The voyages are designed to follow in the wake of explorers and cross the International Dateline (ID).

The cruise will offer 332 guests on board, the sunny weather and beautiful beaches of Fiji.

Paul Gauguin Cruises president Dianne Moore said they have started to make their trip earlier.

“Our yields have gone up. You always have a fine line of raising ticket prices and our booking has extended to North America, and while raising ticket prices, we have started to market earlier than ever with future deployment,” Ms Moore said.

“Fiji is also back on for 2019, with a 13-night cruise in September followed by a 12-night sailing.

“Those two sailings are doing very well; it’s not so much about the beach and water, but more about the culture and land,” she said.

“Over the course of 13 unhurried nights, Paul Gauguin allows visitors to discover the South Pacific’s most storied, beautiful, and culturally vibrant islands, towns, and cities,” she said.

She said the trip will allow visitors to experience the cultural and beauty of Fiji.

“No matter what kind of experience you seek, from soaking in the sun on the Society Islands’ white-sand beaches to immersing yourself in the unique cultures of Fiji and Tonga, when visitors follow in the wake of the world’s most famous explorers in the South Pacific, there are treasures to discover at every port.

“Two separate Fijian ports showcase an intriguing juxtaposition: the sophisticated capital city of Suva and the unspoiled beauty of Savusavu, called the Hidden Paradise of Fiji.

“Surrounded by one of the largest barrier reefs in the world, you can see an abundance of tropical fish and beautiful coral blooms while visiting tiny Beqa Island,” she said.
