The Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) team will be in Kadavu on Wednesday to help its members.

The team leaves tomorrow for Kadavu and will be based at Vunisea.

Chief executive officer Jaoji Koroi is urging the members to be ready with all their requirements.

Meanwhile, the Fiji National Provident Fund has so far released $5.33 million to more than 6000 members as flood assistance.

FNPF stepped in to offer affected members some relief in the aftermath of the devastating Tropical Cyclone Josie and Tropical Cyclone Keni floods.

Mr Koroi said the $5.33m were the funds paid out. More payouts will be done today.

He said inspection teams had distributed more than 15,000 forms so far.

“Most of the areas that were identified have been covered by our inspection teams,” he said.

Mr Koroi said all the inspection has been completed.

“For those members who are still complaining, there is a team in the West to help sort things out.”
