Coach Koli Sewabu is work­ing on key areas before the Fiji Airways Under-20 team play their first game on Friday.

The Oceania Rugby U20s Champi­onship will be played at Bond Uni­versity, Gold Coast, Australia.

Fiji play Australia on Friday and Tonga and New Zealand on Tues­day and Saturday, respectively.

Coach Koli Sewabu said, “We are working on few specialist positions like the tight -five areas. So we are rebuilding for the next two years. Preparation has been ongoing and within a short time frame, we need to do a lot of things.”

Sewabu, a former Flying Fijians flanker said playing NZ, Australia and Tonga is the best way forward

The side includes six overseas based players Caleb Mantz, Jo Mar (West Brisbane), Lima Rasch (Can­berra Viking), Poasa Niumataiwalu (Brisbane Red extended squad), NZ based Trent Williams, and England based Jona Nabetelevu.

The side departed yesterday for Brisbane.

Round 2 – Tuesday, May 1: New Zea­land v Fiji, Australia v Tonga,

Round 3 – Saturday, May 5: Tonga v Fiji, Australia v New Zealand,
