Termination Claim on Facebook a Lie

Lautoka Resident Magistrate Mosese Naivalu has labelled claims of his termination on social media as complete “lies”.

Recent Posts on Facebook had claimed that Magistrate Naivalu’s contract was terminated.

Speaking to Fiji Sun yesterday, Magistrate Naivalu confirmed that he is expected to complete his term by July 6, and that was a decision for the Judicial Services Commission.

“Everything that was stated on social media about my contract didn’t happen, and it is a lie,” Magistrate Naivalu said.

Mr Naivalu is originally from Yalobi in Waya in Yasawa. In January this year he was unanimously elected as Yasawa Rugby Union president.

He was a school teacher at Ratu Naivalu Memorial School in Waya from 1990 to 1993 before he left for New Zealand to attend Waikato University, where he obtained a Bachelors in Law and a Masters in Law. Edited by Naisa Koroi
