Suva thrashed Dreketi 5-1 in the Voda­fone Premier League match at Ratu Ca­kobau Park, Nausori yesterday.

What happened: Dreketi defended well be­fore Bruce Hughes of Suva broke the dead­lock with the first goal in the 15th minute.

Suva dominated the second half when they scored four goals to Ravinesh Karan Singh in the 43rd minute, Emori Ragata in the 59th minute, captain Simione Tamanisau in 69th minute and Menon Ram in the 80th minute.

Paulikesa Sowane scored for Dreketi in the 60th minute,

Big Play: Tamanisau called the shots for the capital side.

Star Turn: Kelvin Naidu played a good defen­sive game for Suva.
