Senior players are expected beef up Ba’s team as they face Suva in the Vodafone Premier League match at the Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori this Sunday.

Among them is left wing Meli Codro who missed out on the game against Tavua at Garvey Park on Sunday in which Ba won 4-2.

This was after he was red carded in the match against Labasa at Subrail Park last month.

He is expected to be joined by Saula Waqa, Samuela Nabenia and Manasa Nawaikula.

“We expect our senior players to return as playing Suva will be crucial,”Ba team manager Arvind Singh said.

“We need to work on our fitness as it was evident we lack in this area against Tavua.

Debutants Kini Mocelutu Madigi, son of former national striker Ravuama Madigi, and Simione Nabenu who have been part of the Ba U19 squad proved their worth.

“We are happy with how they played and we can expect more from them.

The other prominent players for the ‘Men in Black’ are Malakai Tiwa, Laisenia Raura, Junior Narendra Rao, Kishan Sami, Avinesh Warran Suwamy and Abbu Zahid.
