The Malolo rugby team aim to make amends in the second round of the Skipper Cup Premiership against Namosi at Churchill Park, Lautoka on Saturday.

Malolo Rugby secretary Viliame Naitau said they need to bounce back after losing to Suva 13-42 in the opening round at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori.

“It will be tough against Namosi and we need to prepare and play well,”Naitau said.

“Namosi will be just as strong as Suva and we need to bounce back.

“We will be treating all the games as a final because only 8 teams are competing and we need to play smart rugby

“Namosi is one of the best teams in the competition so we are expecting a good game.

“We started camping straight after the Suva game because we know we have to lift our game to avoid relegation.”

Naitau thanked all the sponsors that have been sponsoring the team during the tournament.

Other Games: Nadroga vs Suva, Naitasiri vs Rewa, Navosa vs Nadi.

Meanwhile, discipline is key for Northland if they are to beat Northern Bulls at Naluwai, Naitasiri on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Northland team manager Joeli Rabuli said they need to up the ante after they beat Nasinu 24-5 in the first round of the Vodafone Vanua Championship.

“We need to play by the rules and be consistent in our performance,” Rabuli said.
