The Rewa rugby side plan to lift their game against Naitasiri at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori tomorrow.

The Ro Alivereti Doviverata-coached Rewa side recorded a 24-19 bonus point win over Warwick Navosa in the opening round of the Skipper Cup Premiership at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka a fortnight ago.

Doviverata said they need to do it right at training before meeting Naitasiri who beat Namosi 23-24 in the first round.

“We are looking into errors we made against Navosa,” Doviverata said.

“We are aware of the fact that we would be playing against one of the giants of provincial rugby in Fiji. But we are in to win toppling the giants.

“We have an idea of what we are up against but our aim is to maintain our position in the Skipper Cup at the end of the season,” he said.

Naitasiri is currently without a coach as Koli Sewabu is with the Under-20 team in Gold Coast, Australia.

“This could be a challenge for Naitasiri playing without coach and an advantage to us,” Doviverata said.
