Commonwealth Games bronze medallist in boxing Winston Hill next target is the 2019 Pacific Games. And he plans to team up with his brother Jonathan for the four-yearly event in Samoa.

Hill made the revelation after receiving $5000 from the Minister for Youth and Sports Laisenia Tutubou for winning bronze at Gold Coast, Australia last month.

The 25- year old said Jonathan always inspired him and was happy with what he has achieved.

“Winning bronze has really inspired Jonathan to get back into the sport and it has always being our dream to compete together,” Hill said.

“Jonathan used to compete at national level and we are aiming to team up for the Pacific Games.

“Receiving $5000 today has been a big blessing for me.

“The support from our Government will urge our athletes to perform better and bring more medals in regional and international competitions.”
