Navosa Stronger As One

Warwick Navosa has shifted camp to Votua in preparation for the Skipper Cup Premiership match against Suva at the ANZ Stadium on Saturday.
Differences in the team management resulted in the side being humiliated 62-0 by BLK Nadroga last week.
The intervention of the chiefly household of Davutukia and Vusu resulted in the parties agreeing to team up again in the name of chief and province.
The Joji Nareki-captained team defeated Jack’s Nadi 37-30 a fortnight ago and aim to repeat the feat against the capital city boys.
Nareki, who plays lock/flanker, said they have learnt their mistakes from the drubbing at Lawaqa Park last week.
“We are not just making up the numbers but we are serious in bouncing back against Suva,”Nareki said.
“Facing Suva will be an uphill battle especially for our forwards pack. But that’s challenge for us and we need to step up.”
Navosa will be banking on key players like Serupepeli Kunalagi, Peniona Nayaya, Limanivai Driu, Eroni Bakabaka, Luke Salabo, Amenio Nakibo and Loma Delai.
“We are a good team and we are glad to be back in the competition after 12 years.
“We have a young bunch of players aiming to make a mark in the Skipper Cup Premiership competition.”
In other matches, Jack’s Nadi host Cloud9 Malolo at the Prince Charles Park, Namosi face Rewa at Thomson Park,Navua. Nadroga will travel to Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori to face QAQA Naitasiri in the feature match of the round.
